DataForce is a service that automatically backs up the following to an off-site location through Electronic Vaulting software:

The information is securely sent to an off-site location where it is stored on a fully clustered and redundant set of servers. Prior to being sent across the network, however, all the files are zipped and encrypted using a 128-bit algorithm. The algorithm is applied using an encryption key set by your company. This encryption key is private to your organization and Circadian will not have access to it. Following encryption, the zip file is then sent to a DataCenter server over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Your company may restore files from the off-site server at any time provided the correct username, password, and decryption key are provided. Files cannot be decrypted for restoration without all three of these components. If DataForce is configured for maximum security, the restoration must be within an IP address range specific to your organization. The files stored on the DataCenter servers will be completely encrypted and undecipherable, even with direct access to the DataCenter server. Additionally, the backups can be configured and customized to back up anything you choose to make fault-tolerant and redundant.

All transmissions through DataForce are completely secure and error-resistant. DataForce uses "Self-healing" technologies (e.g., failover, fault prediction, performance optimization, etc.). Even if a connection is lost the backup will continue once the connection is made active again, thus, resulting in automatic failure recovery. Full reports can be generated and printed at any time showing the results of the job at the file level.
